Description:
An introduction to the fundamentals of biosignals and real-time data acquisition. Participants will be introduced to the origins of biosignals within the human body. The function of EKG, EMG, and EEG sensors will be outlined. This workshop will also explore application program interfaces for these sensors and critical elements of signal processing. Basic knowledge of circuit components (e.g. resistors, capacitors, op-amps, etc.) is recommended, but not required. Knowledge in programming in Python or Matlab would also be useful.
